Went to Big Daddy’s but cash only. Went to ATM and back to BDBBQ. Tried to order but limited food left so took what we could get. Okay but not what I heard about. While eating some “apparent” regulars were served what we wanted. So we walked out. Place looks like a dump and is. Oh and I paid Way too much for what I got. It may be good but only if they know you. They don’t care about reviews. Look at all the posts with no owner remarks at all. Cash up front is the only guarentee.

I've been having bad luck finding good barbecue in the Fort Rucker area. But, my luck changed today when I found Big Daddy's. I hadn't planned on eating out, but if I had, I really would have enjoyed the friendliness of the place. Oh, and they know a thing or two about flavorful BBQ. The baked beans and cole slaw were as good as can be got. Excellent portions on the ribs and pulled pork take-out. I shall return.

This place would make my mom jealous. Awesome food great prices and incredible people.

I was wanting the baked potato and beans, but when we got there the hostess said they only have Cole slaw and sandwiches, but maybe enough potato salad for one serving. So the wife and I both ordered a jumbo pork sandwich and we got the potato salad. The potato salad was very good as well as the sandwiches. But I was really disappointed about not having much available. Keep in mind this was at noon. If they had all the options on the menu then I would have given them 5 stars.

We don't take bbq lightly & we're always looking for the real deal. Big Daddy's IS Real Deal BBQ!! Owners are great! Everything was delish but baked potato with pork is a must & the ribs...oh yes!!

Good BBQ

First off, *cash only*.We sat down and started looking through the menu and decided what we wanted. The waitress came over and told us basically we had our choice of pork plates or sandwiches from the menu.The sizes of the sandwiches were good for the price and the pork was good as was the sauce, by itself. However the sauce was hidden behind the flavor of the pork. It was good just not the most amazing thing like everyone's been saying.

Excellent BBQ sauce and good food at fair prices.

If you like pork then this is your place. Very sweet friendly people own the establishment. They treat you like family. Great place for parties.

My family and I went a few day's ago and we all LOVED the food! Big Daddy and his wife both are so sweet and made our first experience at their restaurant a GREAT one. We will for sure go back soon.

I'm at a loss for words. The most amazing pulled pork I've ever had. The friendliest owners I've ever met. The best hot barbecue sauce I've ever tasted. Extremely inexpensive. Seriously contemplating writing google to extend the star scale so I can give more than 5 stars.

Big Daddy makes the best bbq, 5 hours after eating and hands still smell like a smoker. Meat was so tender and delicious. On top of the great food you can buy the signature sauce. The service is amazing, and they care about your experience. Look forward to coming back!

Best bbq in town

Loved the barbeque and service! I ordered the pork platter and the pork and beans were delicious. I would have liked a few more options for side dishes and the rice that came with it was only ok. However the barbeque and friendly service made up for it and I will come again in the future!

I don't know if it was last minute...but my experience was not good I paid $13 for a Suppose to be Slab of Ribs that were So Greasy and they were more Boiled than bbq Rack of ribs and the bbq sauce was water down more like ketchup added so my experience for the first time I didn't Eat Any of $23 Worth I had to throw it away...

Good BBQ, good people running the restaurant. Go here to eat.

Do not judge this book by it's cover! Super BBQ, welcoming staff, great experience. It was like having dinner at my aunt's house.

This is the best bar b que in the south very friendly and that down south environment.

This restaurant is beautiful. The food is good too. The people are even better!

Out of all the choices, put this one a little farther down your list... Menu stated multiple sides, actual availability was very limited to only two sides, rice and beans... Only two sauce choices hot (temperature) and hot (spice)

This is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had. The sweet sauce is better than perfect. This isn't just food, it's art. Although I haven't been in this area in years, I still talk about them often to coworkers who live in that part of the state. If I'm ever back in town, I won't leave until I've eaten here again.

Real southern style. Such a popular place they ran out of meat selection. Cole slaw is one of best, not a gloopy mayonnaise mess. Best sweet tea too

The service was above and beyond, everyone was extremely friedly. We got the loaded potato and ribs and everything tasted amazing. The portions were VERY VERY gracious. We will definitely make a trip again from Dothan just to eat here, it was definitely very well worth the drive.

The food was excellent, I live the feel of a small restaurant where the owner is directly engaged. Big Daddy and his wife are absolutely good southern folks who love their customers. I would definitely recommend them.

I don't know how anyone in their right mind leaves a bad review here. THE best pulled pork I've EVER had. The hot sauce is where it's at. Fantastic people and a very homey atmosphere. Big Daddy obviously takes pride in making that food. Great sweet tea, too! They're sweethearts and we will be back & spread the word. Had an amazing sandwich, baked beans and slaw plus a sweet tea for $8. Phenomenal.

Oh My Goodness. Not enough to be said about this family oriented House of BBQ. If you want a classic hometown place to enjoys a smoked BBQ pork sandwich, this is the place.
